Veda Karthik
Hi, I’m Veda Karthik, and I started playing chess in October 2023 at the age of 8, learning the game at home. Soon, I joined Seven Hills Chess Academy in Tirupati, where I refined my skills and deepened my passion for the game.
In less than 1.5 years, I have achieved a 2100 Rapid rating and a 2007 Classical rating on Lichess. Recently, I earned my FIDE International rating of 1557 after an outstanding performance at the 13th National Schools Chess Championship 2025 held in Kakinada.

I have consistently topped all district-level tournaments and secured a top-10 finish in every state-level tournament I have participated in.
My dream is to become a Grand Master, and I will never, ever give up on this goal. With every move I make and every game I play, I am determined to improve, compete, and reach the highest levels of chess! ♟️🏆

Jashvitha
Hi, I’m Jashvitha, and I started playing chess 4 months after my brother, Veda Karthik, at the age of 6. From the moment I moved my first piece, I knew chess was something I loved and wanted to pursue.
In just 8 months, I have achieved a Lichess Classical rating of 1766 and a Rapid rating of 1667. I have consistently stood at the top Under-7 girls at the district level and secured a top-5 finish at the state level.
In September 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to compete in the National Chess Championship held in Mysore, where I scored 5.5 out of 9 points, gaining valuable experience and growing as a player.
My dream is to become one of the most prominent women in chess, and I am determined to work hard, compete fiercely, and keep improving every step of the way! ♟️✨
